Neurodiverse teens come to Spark Academy after struggling in a world where they don’t quite fit. We meet them there - we understand that world. Our approach begins with a strong emphasis on attunement and fostering healthy attachments. Spark caregivers actively co-regulate with your child, supporting them until they develop the essential skills for self-regulation. After gaining a solid foundation in regulation skills, students become better equipped to grasp and apply the executive functioning skills required for daily life. At Spark Academy, our comprehensive milieu and specialized continuum of care offer a diverse range of opportunities for students to practice these skills in settings that increasingly resemble real life, ultimately preparing them for a successful transition to life beyond Spark.
